When asked about the response to the kissing scene from the fans, Dharmendra said, “I am hearing that Shabana and I have surprised the audience with the kissing scene, and at the same time they have even applauded it. I think people weren’t expecting it and it came very suddenly which is why it created an impact. The last time I did a kissing scene was in Hindi movie Life In A Metro (2007) with actress Nafisa Ali-- and at that time too people had appreciated it.” : At the recent live media interactions on stage a jovial-natured outspoken Dharamji referring to his kissing scenes said, “Mujhe kaafi messages aa rahen hain ki-- Dharam ji apne aisa-aisa kiya hai.
