Shweta Bachchan Nanda & Monisha Jaising’s Mxs First-Ever Runway Show To Take Place At Godrej L’affaire

Ace designers Monisha Jaising and Shweta Bachchan Nanda; will be doing the first runway show of the duo’s luxury pret fashion label - MxS. The fashion show will take place exclusively at Godrej L’Affaire happening in Mumbai on Saturday, February 22. The show will be a “Private Runway Showcase” and will feature their chic and trendsetting collection which is tailored with utmost attention to detail and sophistication.Godrej L’Affaire is a one-day curated experiential platform by the Godrej Group, that aims to define future lifestyle experiences. Conceptualized as a one-day experience, Godrej L’Affaire showcases a mix of ideas and concepts around design, décor, food, travel, fashion, art and music. Masterclasses, engaging conversations, fashion shows and musical performances is what it promises to deliver.  For the fourth edition, Godrej L’Affaire has exclusively associated with MxS for ‘MxS Private Runway Showcase’

The MxS Private Runway Showcase’ collection will be cheeky, preppy and playful as well as whimsical and glamorous. ‘Reflective light’ or ‘play of light’ seeks centre stage for the majority of the collection through interesting choices in surface texturing and fabrics specially manufactured for MxS. There will be superfluity of different references, but still there will be a sense of focus in the lineup. Street-inspired and sportive elements are worked upon with different proportions and fabric mash-ups, and a riot of acid colors and whimsical hued treatments will give a jolt of energy to feminine shapes.Speaking on the collection and the fashion show at Godrej L’Affaire, Monisha Jaising, said, “This MxS ‘Private Runway Showcase’ at Godrej L'Affaire is extra special for Shweta and me as this is our brand’s runway debut.  I would like to thank Godrej L’Affaire for this opportunity.
