Shweta Rohira Organizes “Bharat Ke Mann Ki Baat” On Her Mother Dr. Kaajal’s Birthday With 2b Foundation, An Ngo.
PM Narendra Modi had launched ‘Bharat Ke Mann ki Baat, Modi Ke Saath’, the largest ever collaborative effort to engage citizens in crafting the roadmap for development for the next five years. When Shweta got a call to organise “Mann Ki Baat” event as she has been doing a lot of social initiatives like Selfie with police, Colour India Clean India (an initiative to beautify the police station walls with her art) or warli painting that she keeps painting, she immediately agreed to do it. She chose to share her Mann ki Baat on cultural heritage of India as she feels this particular section is rarely given the required importance, also being herself a very holistic person and knowing the importance of a holistic lifestyle be it yoga or healthy eating as a influencer she has travelled to various temples and Indian festivals like Kumbh etc. to spread awareness and she has been promoting various temples, festivals, monuments of India etc. on her social platforms as a part of video blogging so people are aware of. On the event Shweta highlighted the importance of art/painting in the overall development of the country. She said, “People don’t often want to dirty colourful places, walls and they will think twice before spitting or urinating or throwing garbage. Art reflects the emotion, culture, attitude of a country, of a person, we should paint the walls and show our culture that is long gone in an art form. We should paint each city with a theme of what they are famous for and what initiative can help the city grow in tourism and generate employment. The painting should be a voice. Art in painting form will educate the society and creating art how things ought to exist will showcase our culture and historic background to the world”.It was a successful event, participants not only appreciated what BJP government and PM Narendra Modi have done to uplift the culture and heritage of India, one of the best example being Kumbh Mela 2019 but also shared many valuable suggestions on taking our culture and heritage globally.
