SHWETA TIWARI LANDS IN CONTROVERSY WITH HER STATEMENT THAT GOD IS TAKING HER BRA SIZE IN THE WEB SERIES SHOW STOPPER

Shweta Tiwari, who is going to be seen in an upcoming web series Show Stopper, has landed herself in trouble after making a controversial statement at a press conference which also saw the presence of her co-stars Rohit Roy, Sourabh Raaj Jain and the ‘Fryday’ fame actor Digangana Suryavanshi.

At the press conference, Sourabh was being mocked for essaying the role of Lord Krishna in several shows to now playing the role of a bra fitter in the upcoming web series Show Stopper.

Tiwari made the statement in Bhopal the day before yesterday on Wednesday during the promotion of her web series Show Stopper. Her co-actors were also present when she made the remark during an interaction with media persons.

A video of Tiwari’s statement has gone viral on social media, in which she purportedly referred to God while speaking about her innerwear.

When asked about the actor’s statement, Minister Narottam Mishra furiously told reporters yesterday on Thursday, “I have heard it and I strongly condemn it. I have directed the police commissioner of Bhopal to probe it and give a report within 24 hours. After that, we will see what action can be taken in the matter.”

A video of Shweta's statement went viral on social media, in which she purportedly referred to God while speaking about her innerwear. Shweta made a statement, “Mere bra ki size bhagwan le rahe hai (God is taking the measurements for my bra).”

Show Stopper, by the way, is a show about fashion which stars Sourabh Raaj Jain in the role of a 'bra fitter'. The show for which the press conference was held is a fashion-related web series. Sourabh is best known for playing the role of Lord Krishna in the mythological show, Mahabharat. It is believed Shweta was talking in reference to Sourabh's famous character.

Shweta Tiwari was spotted at the Mumbai airport on Thursday upon her return from Bhopal. She was clad sexily, in a pink crop top and blue pants.
