Siddharth Kasyap’s latest romantic video ‘Abr-e-Karam’ ( Anjali Krishna and Akshit) showered with taareef-pey-taareef ! --- by Chaitanya Padukone

After the recent memorable celebrations of their mega-hit original cult-song ‘Dua Karo’ and ‘Ishqbaazi’ this time it was ek-baar-phir-sey a twin-celebration with glitz-glam-grandeur yet traditional finale ! The late-night jashn-e-qawwali event was convened by innovative experimental composer–showman Siddharth Kasyap ( SK Music Works) for launching their next venture . Enthused host Siddharth, “ It’s the grand twin-celebration of a new milestone of my youtube Channel S K Music Works crossing Five Million Subscribers ! It is also for the launch of my new captivating rhythmic yet lyrical traditional romantic song Abr-e-Karam ( Clouds of Kindness) . This is written by Shakeel Azmi sung by Altamash Faridi featuring Akshit Sukhija & Anjali Krishna and directed by the super-talented Anshul Vijaywargiya ( of ‘Dua Karo’ fame). There is visual authenticity yet ethnic grandeur in ‘Abr-e-Karam. This tonight’s event in association with Red FM also showcased our chartbusting songs performed ‘live’ by Mohammed Irfan, Raja Hassan, Amit Gupta, Shehzaad Ali, Sakshi Holkar & Biswaajeeta Deb which was followed by a live Mehfil-è-Qawwali by Altamash Faraidi and his team.. It was indeed a yaadgar musical mehfil, ” insists Sidharth.

The late night celebrations hosted by dynamic-composer Siddharth Kasyap backed by his corporate COO charismatic Sanober Herekar-Aziz was happening at the exotic open-air venue ‘Up-In-The-Air’. Besides the entire star-cast and crew of the pulsating music-video, the turn-out of starry celebs included guests Terence Lewis, eminent music-video director Aziz Zee ( whose birthday was the on the next day), Shakir Shaikh, model-actress Nandita Chatterjee, hottie Shweta Khanduri ( she extempore performed her live ‘Chammo’ dance on stage) , sizzling singer-actress Biswajeeta Deb, Raja Hassan and many other celebs who were all well looked after by the host Sidharth and (SKMusicWorks) stunningly glam channel producer Aliza Khan.

Asked to share the khaasiyat of S K Music Works ‘Abr-e-Karam’, music-video heroine Anjali Krishna shares, “Do you know I am still under the emotional hang-over of the video ever since we completed the shooting, It’s almost like an off-screen romantic break-up for me.. The Qawwali video with its meaningful lyrics is directed so beautifully by amazing Anshul-Sir. It’s all about a small-town simple innocent pure traditional love-romance with no urban synthetic vibes. There is a brief spontaneous kissing scene between both of us on the terrace where ---now I won’t tell you any more—watch the video. In keeping with the title, my hero ( Akshit) and I bring clouds of kindness into each other’s lives, “ discloses Anjali who has also been shooting for Mahesh Bhatt and Vikram Bhatt’s underproduction movie ‘Khilone’ where she plays a positive role of an 18 year old smart hacker . “Also I am playing a younger version of Mugdha Veira Godse in web-series ‘Crime To Remember’ ,” reveals Anjali whose dream wish-list includes working someday with celeb-actors like Babil Khan, Varun Dhawan, Aditya Rawal and Ranveer Singh.
