If we look back at Sidharth Malhotra's film choices, the actor hasn’t done romantic roles for quite some time. But, as we earlier reported Aiyaary actor Sidharth Malhotra to star in Anees Bazmee's next romantic-comedy venture. Now according to latest speculations, Sidharth has signed his next romantic project produced by Ekta Kapoor.

A leading daily quoted a source saying, "It’s a small town love story with edgy characters. As soon as Ekta heard it she immediately reached out to Sidharth. She believes it’s a great role and a perfect film for them to come together. The film is expected to roll in a couple of months. The makers will begin the reccee soon and zero in on a leading lady."

The source added, "The duo hopes to recreate the magic with their reunion."

Currently, the actor is all set to be seen in Kargil: Sher Shah, a biopic based on the late Kargil war hero Captain Vikram Batra. He will soon start shooting for the film in Kashmir.
