Simple Kaul is happy that her Homemade Café has turned eight: Our goal was to create a place that's creative, homey, and where you feel close and loved

Actress Simple Kaul’s Homemade Cafe has completed eight years. The actor who is known for her roles in shows such as Shararat, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Oye Jassie, Ziddi Dil Maane Na among others is happy and looking to do better in the coming times.
“This café specializes in Italian food and has a very cozy atmosphere. It looks like a café you would find in Europe, particularly in the charming villages of Italy. We've even brought items from Italian villages to create this vibe,” she shares.

Looking back to the days gone by, she adds, “We traveled to Italy before we started this cafe and got so inspired by the beautiful small village cafés there, that we knew we want to create the same vibe here, and we opened a small cozy place with an intimate vibe. Our goal was to create a place that's beautiful homely, romantic and had creative vibe where one could read a book or write stories. Even if one is alone, one could unwind with a cup of coffee or a shake. There are books kept on the shelves, a place where one could spend time with family & friends or the loved one & make memories around the table with good food. Good food gets people closer and that’s what our place do. Our cafe makes one feel loved. It’s like a neighborhood café with a homely touch.
Simple Kaul Talking about the eight years journey, the actor sounds emotional. “It's hard to believe that it's been 8 years since we opened. Initially, I just wanted a cute café for myself and friends & outsiders to , a happy place to connect with loved ones over food and Offcourse earn money through an alternate career.  We knew Food had to be the best and it had to be comfort food for people to come back again to us and we succeeded in it. The café has a wonderful atmosphere, and that's what we've always aimed for. Our business is driven by passion and a desire to create a beauty . Even though we didn't have much knowledge about food or restaurants when we started, we learnt as we grew. It all came from the heart, born out of our passion. Nothing like making money through what you love”. she says.
