“Singing Songs For South Indian Films Is The Toughest,” Reveals Singer Javed Ali On The Kapil Sharma Show

The Kapil Sharma Show has made weekends livelier and funnier yet again as viewers eagerly wait to see their favorite Kapil Sharma on their TV screens. This weekend, music composer Vishal Dadlani along with singer Javed Ali are the guests on the show. Joining them will be Indian Idol 10 winner Salman Ali along with the top 4 contestants Ankush Bhardwaj, Nitin Kumar, Neelanjana Ray

The entire team had a good time shooting for the episode as their Kapil Bhaiya kept taking jibes on himself and his singing abilities as he confessed that his singing is nothing infront of these talented young singers. The guests shared a lot of interesting anecdotes that had the audience in splits. Also, the audience got a chance to see their favorite contestants of Indian Idol perform live infront of them.

Javed Ali who also was one of the judges of Indian Idol 10, entertained the audience with a medley of his songs. He reveals that, “I was a big fan of Ghulam Ali Saab and I was inspired by him that I wanted to become a Ghazal singer. But when I came into the Bollywood industry and saw the versatility that playback singing offers, I chose to become a playback singer. Through playback singing, I can sing different genres like pop, Bollywood and even ghazals.

Talking about Javed’s versatility, Kapil mentions that Javed is a multi-lingual singer and he is wooing his fans not just in the Bollywood industry but also the South Indian film industry. Javed adds, “I sing a lot of songs for South Indian films and it is actually very tough to sing them and get their pronunciation right. So, for my ease, I write the lyrics in Hindi and then work on getting their pronunciations right
