We caught up with the talented director at his suburban Andheri office. Over to Jeetendra. Tell us about your journey in Hindi films. I started by shooting singing and dancing reality shows with reality music show stalwarts like Gajendra Singh at ETC channel where I started work as a graphic designer and later directed singing and dancing reality shows What is the theme of your film Sirf Money? The film is about a small town girl Rangili who comes to Mumbai from a small town in Punjab to make it big in Hindi films on her mother's insistence but is exploited by one and all she meets and even her boyfriend and then she commits suicide. In Mumbai she stays in PG digs with four other girls and she is gypped out of her money by fraudsters who try even to upsurp her house. Then at one evening in a dance show she meets a rich tycoon Vikram Singh, older than her and she latches on to him as she needs support and money and he gifts her a big bungalow and cars and a lead role in a big film but is broken inside to realize what her mother dreamt for her and what she was doing and ultimately even Vikram Singh ditches her to take her to her sorry end. What is the star cast of the film? The film has Sudesh Berry in the lead role and the rest are newbies. The producer is singer music composer Naik of Omkar Productions and he has helped me a lot in the making of the film. Where was the film shot? The film was shot in Mumbai,Pune and beautiful locales of Goa. What is the approximate budget of the film? Around 3 crores. How many screens will you be releasing the film?
