Bobby Deol is also getting love from people after seeing him in a negative role in the film 'Animal'. "It's my good fortune." People's love, appreciation, and asking that my work has been shortened... I am overwhelmed to hear and know this from my fans. This love of people is not only because of me but the loyalty and attachment towards the Deol family is also the reason behind It." says Bobby Deol.
Bobby Deol: My scenes are not cut
If Ranbir Kapoor's work is being mentioned in the discussion of 'Animal', then at the same time, people do not forget to praise Bobby's work as well, although the role of Bobby i.e. the film's character Abrar Haq is very small and he is only a part of the action. Regarding this comment, Bobby says - "My scenes are not cut, they are as it has been shot. The scene in the film is what I was told at the time of doing the film. I was told that I had to give only fifteen days for the shoot. I was keen to work with Sandeep. When I got his call, I said to see if it was him or someone else. When we met he never told me the entire story of the film. He just narrated what I had to do. I wanted to work with him. I believe that what matters is not the length of the role but the amount of effort put into it. The rest is a matter of hard work and luck. For me, I consider it a big thing that I got a chance to work with Sandeep Reddy Vanga."
People had praised Bobby's work earlier also, what is it that is being noticed more this time? To explain this, Bobby says - "The length of the role is short and people feel that the role should have been longer, this is the beauty of this role." He says that his mother (Prakash Kaur) saw the film and said – Son, don't do such things. "I said, I am in front of you, this is just an act."
Bobby gives credit for his work to the director (Sandeep Vanga) and gives credit for love to his (Deol) family. Someone has written that Bobby has now matured and has learned to speak like a seasoned star. He says- "There are some benefits of living in a star family since childhood. My father has also played some negative roles in his career but his positive personality has been so influential that everyone loves and respects him. He is the one who has given me this plus point. He is my idol. I can say the same for Sunny. Bhai's film 'Gadar 2' is a hit film and he is the only hero of his kind."
When Bobby Deol talks about the Deol family, he especially means Dharmendra and Sunny. "I am lucky that I am the son of such a father (Dharmendra) and the younger brother of such a brother (Sunny)." Sunny and Esha Deol had already congratulated Bobby for his excellent performance in 'Animal', and now Dharmendra has also praised him by saying 'My... Bob!’ Although the Deol family includes Hema Malini's family, Sunny Deol's two actor sons, and Bobby's son and Cousin Abhay Deol, everyone is happy, but for Bobby, there is no one equal to his father and brother.
It must be said that the year 2023 has been one of celebration for the Deol family, Bobby says with great enthusiasm - "Yes of course. We enjoy happiness to the fullest. This year my brother's film 'Gadar 2' has brought us a lot of happiness, and now 'Animal ' has given us happiness. I am happy with the love and warmth that people are giving me after 'Ashram'. My enthusiasm has increased a lot. Papa is turning 88 on this 8th of December, and still playing...not Out. It's time for us to celebrate 2023."
