He was the first gold medalist from the prestigious Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) to achieve mainstream success. The leading man: Navin Nichol His debut film, "Sawan Bhadon" (1970), became a box office hit, establishing him as a leading man. He went on to star in numerous films throughout the 70s and 80s, captivating audiences with his performances in movies including "Buddha Mil Gaya," "The Burning Train," and the comedy classic "Khosla Ka Ghosla!"
