Communication and conversation have always been an essential part of life . Time was when people sent messages through various modes of sending information and they even used pigeons to send across their messages and even message of love ( kabootar jaa jaa ) .... - Ali Peter John
Then came the medium of paper and pen which were used to write messages and put them in post boxes which were letter carried by postmen . And when messages had to be sent fast , man invented the telephone and the telegram.
And now we have entered an Era when machines are being used to do what other mediums couldn't do with the same efficiency and speed ...
Then some twenty years ago there was a strange and strong revolution in the world of communication with the coming in of the Internet, which opened new avenues of sending and receiving messages both for the corporate sector and the private sector and down to individuals.
The Internet gave birth to a number of apps like Twitter, Whatsapp, Instagram and Facebook messenger .
These apps became a craze among every section of people and today these apps are more popular and powerful than any other medium of communication and they have even become a part of the political, social , economic and also religious life .
Together, they are known as the social media and today social media has become a way of life and it is difficult to imagine how life would be without social media.
Twitter has become so very powerful that our own prime minister Mr.Narendra Modi cannot function without it.
The former president Of America, Mr.Donlad Trump was also a regular user of Twitter and use it most during his last election which he lost, but he kept using his Twitter handle to his advantage till Twitter found him making irresponsible use of it and it stopped Mr. Trump from using Twitter .
Back home, Kangana Ranaut was the most known user of Twitter till she to made wrongful use of it , and she too was stopped from using Twitter, especially when she and her sister Rangoli Chandel kept spreading hate between two communities.
But Twitter continues to be the most used app and some of the users of Twitter seem to depend on Twitter for their very existence.
Instagram is the one app that is catching up with every age of people and is turning out to be an app which is being used for enlightenment, entertainment and education.
Whatsapp is the other app which has become an addiction with the people and with Facebook messenger is running a race which doesn't seem to end .
And if all these apps have been useful to anyone , it is the stars of bollywood and other Celebrities.
To think of it , Amitabh Bachan, the star of the Millenium ( sadi ka mahanayak) who is seventy nine and is still the number one star and even the busiest star is a one man phenomenon when it comes to using social media.
He has his own blog on which he personally writes about all that he thinks or feels about and puts some of his blogs and nostalgic photographs about him and his family on Twitter.
He also uses Twitter regularly, almost every day to put pictures of him, the events in his life and his family .
There are other big stars like Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt, Parineeta Chopra , Aishwarya Rai Bachan , Deepika Padukone , Sara Ali Khan , Kareena Kapoor Khan and almost all the stars of the new generation.
Social media has become the very breath of most stars and even flim makers , not only in Mumbai, also in the South and in Kolkata.
These apps help the stars to keep in touch with their fans by sharing almost everything about their lives their photographs of events in their lives and even use them to provide trivia to their fans through these apps.
But , these apps which can help them can also hurt them and harm them when their fans troll them and sometimes even say the most nasty and even make
obscene statements about them .
Whatever it is , social media has now become an essential part of the lives and styles of the stars from bollywood and I don't think they will now give it up for anything else .
EK NAYA YUG AA GAYA HAI JISME SOCIAL MEDIA CHA GAYA HAI AUR AB AISA LAGTA HAI KI HUMKO SOCIAL MEDIA KE SAATH JEENE KI AADAT DALNI PADEGI AGAR HUMKO SAMAY KE SAATH CHALNA HAI .
From Ali Peter John
