As ISRO turned 50 years old, 'Mission Mangal' - India's first space film hit the screens. The film based on the story of scientists at the Indian Space Research Organization, who contributed to the Mars Orbiter Mission has passed the opening day test and how! It made a whopping 29.16 crores at the box office making it Sonakshi Sinha’s highest opener till date. With 29.16 crores, Mission Mangal becomes the biggest Independence Day opening in the last 3 years. Sonakshi Sinha's performance was well appreciated by both the critics and the cine-goers. She received rave-reviews from many leading portals, which said things like, “Sonakshi Sinha is lovely and gets to shine.”, ‘Sonakshi Sinha nails her role as the ambitious Eka Gandhi.”  “What a seeti-deserving performance from Miss Sinha!”All these reviews and an amazing opening day collection wasn’t enough good news for Sonakshi for sure! She also hit 16 million on her instagram and was extremely elated by all this.
