Sonali Phogat (BB-14) would love to romance ‘younger’ actors on-screen

During her stint as a housemate in Bigg Boss-14 , the vivacious model-actress-active-politician Sonali Phogat impressed both home-audiences and show-host Salman Khan with her agile yet sensuous filmy dancing - Chaitanya Padukone

The romantic-by-heart Sonali had also expressed her ‘discreet infatuation’ for macho, suave co-housemate Aly Goni who was then courting Jasmin Bhasin.

So it was not surprising now that the popular Phogat features in the music video of Raj Mawer’s catchy song, Afeem.

As expected, voluptuous Sonali been facing criticism ever since its release for “romancing an actor younger than her” and for wearing “inappropriate costumes.”

The outspoken politician-cum-actress counter-argues, “Men working with girls half their age is considered macho. But when women do it, they face backlash.”

The adamant 41-year old Sonali is not giving up on her Bollywood dream-aspirations. She often wonders why some people tell her she is “too old” for romancing in movies.

Otherwise based in Haryana, versatile Sonali Phogat was National Vice President of BJP`s Mahila Morcha.

In 2016, she made her acting debut with the TV show Amma: Ek Maa Jo Laakhon Ke Liye Bani Amma.

She was last seen in the web series, The Story Of Badmashgarh in 2019. The stylish Sonali has said that she had always liked Dharam-ji and Salman Khan as well.
