SONAM KAPOOR CALLS OUT MEDIA FOR PITTING FEMALE ACTORS AGAINST EACH OTHER

For a very long time now Bollywood has been living with an established and a rather nonsensical notion that actresses in Bollywood love having catfights and dislike working with each other. Sonam Kapoor has decided to speak against this cliché concept by posting a short note on her Instagram feed making it very clear that intelligent women are those who grow together and they do not pull each other down. Which is as true as it gets because to start a fight with one another isn't the only purpose of our lives. It's sad how its become a ritual with the media houses constantly pitting actresses against each other and we all have been a testament to such news pieces.

This time again, while the cast of Veere De Wedding, which is a much-awaited ensemble film starring Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Shikha Talsania, was busy shooting and quite happily so for the Delhi schedule, the same old news of actresses not getting along with each other started doing the rounds which of course is solely what people can think about writing when the major cast of the film comprises of women.

We are glad Sonam Kapoor gave the media houses a piece of her mind amidst all the baseless and infuriating rumors. She made it loud and clear that nothing can stop women from working with each other and to have blast while they do so!
