BIRTHDAY INTERVIEW :SONAM KAPOOR

Sonam Kapoor has been appreciated for her performance in PadMan. The film breaks the taboo of menstruation and brings the issue out in open for people to talk. Sonam's role in the movie was loved, though the audience wanted to see her more in the film.

In an interview with a leading daily, Sonam was asked about her short role in the movie to which she replied;  “There was more to that relationship than what was shown. It was edited out to make the film shorter. At the end of the day, if we were able to say what we wanted to say, I think it's okay.”

She added, “They couldn't remove the last few bits so they did what they could to keep it short."

Sonam also added about the positive reactions she has been gaining from her industry friend. The actress added; “Once your film releases, colleagues from within the film industry message you and share their feedback. What touched me the most, in this case, was that my contemporaries texted me. That's not something that happens generally. But my final validation comes from my director. And Balki was very happy with it. So I am happy.”

This year, the actress will be seen in four movies and is currently busy with the shoot of Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga. Sonam will also play an important role in Dutt's biopic.
