SONU SOOD IS THE BRAND AMBASSADOR OF FIT INDIA MOVEMENT

Sonu Sood was a part of chinese action-adventure comedy film along with the great actor Jackie Chan. The actor is a fitness-freak and is known for his superb physique. Recently, Sonu was named as the brand ambassador for the Fit India Movement in New Delhi.

During monthly radio programme Mann Ki Baat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today called for a ‘Fit India’ movement, as he looks to take the nation forward on the path of fitness and wellness. The ‘Fit India’ movement provides a unique and exciting opportunity to work towards a healthier India.

Being the brand ambassador of the movement, the Dabangg actor's role will be to inspire people to get fit and healthy, covering almost every part, specially those from the middle and working class and also those who are under pressure to earn a living and neglect their health in the process.

Every month, Sonu will travel to various places and spread the importance of health and fitness in one's own life.

According to a leading daily, Sonu said, “I’ll go to major metros as well as other towns to make people aware about the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle and why one should dedicate a couple of hours to oneself. The idea is to make them motivate others as well.”

Talking about the work front, Sonu will be seen in the upcoming film Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi and Paltan.
