Sony SAB Set To Up The Happiness Quotient For Viewers With New Dramedy ‘My Name Ijj Lakhan’

True to the vision of creating values-driven content that is relatable and uplifting, Sony SAB’s latest offering ‘My Name ijjLakhan’, is an engaging story of a young man trying to reform his ways. Critically-acclaimed actor ShreyasTalpade will demonstrate his versatile acting prowess as the show's protagonist, Lakhan, a goon with a heart of gold.

Talking about his role, ShreyasTalpade said, “I am very excited to make my fiction television debut with ‘My name ijjLakhan’ on Sony SAB. I am looking forward to playing the role of Lakhan and I hope that viewers love me in this all-new dynamic Action-Emotional-Comedy avatar on television.”

"Like father, like son" doesn't always hold true and Lakhan's ideological differences with his father exemplifies this. Polar opposite in their beliefs, Lakhan's father, Dashrath, believes all that is good in the world while Lakhan feels that only the tough can survive this bad place. The dramedy follows Lakhan's journey as he tries to turn a new leaf. Motivated by his new-found mission to mend his ways, he tries to commit good deeds in his own peculiar "andaaz" often with comedic results.

With a captivating storyline and a talented star cast, ‘My Name ijjLakhan’ is certainly a treat for the viewers to look forward to. The show is expected to air soon in 2019 only on Sony SAB.
