Her original name is Satyavati Mudawat, and she was born in Andhra Pradesh, now Telangana. Mangli has worked in Superhit Telugu movies like Saptagiri, Shailaja Reddy Alludu, Rajmahal, Nidhi Nadiokay Katha, Ala Vaikuntharamalle. Her song Ramulo Ramala from superstar Allu Arjun's movie AlaVaikuntharamalle has received 200 million views! This beautiful artist who has achieved the zenith of success has also carried out her family responsibilities with sincerity. As a daughter, Mangli is the pride of her parents.

A significant fact is that this beautiful songstress is set to make her debut in the world of Marathi cinema. Mangli will be seen in the movie ‘Amdaar Niwas’, produced and directed by Sanjivkumar Rathod. Mangli is to start her journey through the song 'Kati Tu Banjara'. Mangli's melodious voice coupled with a rich glance into the Gor-Banjara community's Sindhu Culture and Bollywood's famed choreographer Vishnu Deva will undoubtedly make this song an unforgettable experience for the audience of Marathi cinema. Mangli will also be presenting her dancing skills through this song. This song is based on the wildly popular Gor-Banjara song from the album Geetanjali. This album was a blockbuster of the decade of the 90s. In spite of being in the Gor-Banjara language the popularity of this album was not affected, for music knows no boundaries of language. Brilliance is appreciated, irrespective of familiarity with the language. Dr.GeetkumarPawar, the producer, lyricist and music director of the Album had the dream to see the songs on the silver screen and for the past 25 years, he has nurtured that dream. Producer-Director Sanjivkumar Rathod took the responsibility of turning this dream into a reality and decided to use the song Kati Tu Banjara in his upcoming movie 'Aamdaar Niwas'.
After a lot of Hospitals, Vaidyas, Worshipping, Temples over the years, they finally had a Mangli after 12 years. One of the biggest penances that Mangli's mother did was to not wear footwear for 12 years. Her sacrifice led to the magic that is Mangli, but Mangli's struggle started right from trying to find a place in her mother's heart. Her mother was furious that in spite of continuous struggle for 12 years they had a girl rather than a boy. So much so that she didn't see Mangli's face for 3 days! What a tragedy for a woman to not understand another woman. Mangli got the eternal companionship of the two struggles - of poverty and her womanhood to weigh her down. But she also got the uplifting companionship of her melodious voice, her supportive father and the heritage of the beautiful, ancient folk songs of the Gor-Banjara community. Mangli took up the baton of preserving this very rich heritage and decided to make a career in the art and music industry. Apart from talent and hard work, to support her art with education Mangli got a diploma in Carnatic Music from S. V. University.
