The dapper actor, who is known as the hot property in Malyalam industry is all set to win us over with an epic period drama film directed by Rosshan Andrrews released on 11th October which also marks the superstar's birthday. A source close to Nivin has revealed that the actor has been training very hard to perfect his look for his next film 'Kayamkulam Kochunni' in which he plays a famed highway man. Nivin's character in the film is a different take on Robinhood as he robbed the rich and gave the poor during the British Raj in India. The actor learned the art of Kalaripayattu for is role and has undergone tremendous training for the same. Apart from learning martial arts, Nivin also trained in horse riding for his role Nivin who went through a transformation to do justice to his character has trained hard post the shoot of the film to get back to his original physique. Apart from physical training, the actor kept a close watch on his diet and was also following a strict regime which his nutritionist had recommended. Talking about his transformation for the film, Nivin Pauly said,“It’s always a challenge to do characters like these. You need to do a lot of research and of course a lot of preparations. For about 9 months I didn’t commit any other film. We shot Kochunni over 160 days and it was fascinating and challenging.
