On Sunday, the ashes of Bollywood's First Female Superstar Sridevi were immersed in the sea at Rameswaram in Tamil Nadu.
The 54-year-old actress was found dead on February 24 in a Dubai hotel due to accidental drowning in her hotel bathtub. The body of Sridevi was flown back to Mumbai on February 27 after Dubai authorities gave a clean chit to the accident which was suspected to be a murder.
The ashes of Sridevi were reportedly brought to Chennai on Friday in a special aircraft. And the actor's Asthi Visarjan rite was performed by husband Boney Kapoor and daughters Janhvi and Khushi.
