STAN LEE HONOURED WITH A HAND-PRINT CEREMONY By Team Bollyy 20 Jul 2017 | Updated On 20 Jul 2017 08:01 IST in Uncategorized New Update Follow Us Share Stan Lee has already become immortal for his fans from all over the world. Over the last five decades, fans have been relishing his creations which includes the super successful Marvel comics and superheroes. The man is single-handedly responsible for the recent revolution of superheroes on the big screen that took the form of a storm post 2010, making everything else seem inferior. And to honour Stan Lee's priceless contribution to the world of entertainment, the living legend was recently honoured at a hand-printing ceremony at the prestigious TCL Chinese Theatre in the presence of Marvel head Kevin Feige, Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn, filmmaker Kevin Smith, Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman, Star Trek's Nichelle Nichols and comic book artist Todd McFarlane. Despite the recent passing away of his beloved wife Joan Lee on July 6, the 94 year old Stan Lee showed an undeniable courage by being his usual funny self at the ceremony. Speaking on the honour bestowed on him, "If I had known I was so good, I'd have asked for a raise, I can't tell you what this means to me. I'm thrilled, I'm overwhelmed. All I can say is I thank you from the bottom of my heart, and I've always wondered about that expression, why is the bottom of your heart more important than the top of your heart? So, I thank you with all of my heart, how's that? Excelsior!" Did he say Excelsior? Well of course Mr. Lee, fans of your chronicles(which includes us) are going to recite your stories for years and years to come and the legacy of Stan Lee will live on forever. “Face front, True Believers” #Marvel #Stan Lee #Chinese theatre #marvel cinematic universe #tcl chinese theatre Related Articles Advertisment Latest Stories Read the Next Article
