Sushmita Mukherjee from Star Bharat show ‘Meri Saas Bhoot Hai’  recall her memories on  Republic Day where she says, “As I was born and raised in Delhi, and I recall attending the parade in front of Parliament on the eve of Republic Day, where we used to watch  the president saluting the flag and giving the presidential salute as a sign of respect, as well as the air show of planes displaying the tricolor of our national flag . As my father used to work in the government sector, we used to get special seats, so I  surely used to  attend parades on Republic Day and I would want to give this message to the youth that we should  take initiative to love and respect Mother India in every possible way, as our country India has a long history of love and sacrifice made by several great martyrs.”

Reena Kapoor from ‘Aashao Ka Savera..Dheere Dheere Se’ shares her memories  on  Republic Day where she says, “We will be celebrating the 74th Republic Day, where on this day  we would do prayers  and also  attend flag hoisting in our  society. I am proud to be an Indian citizen and I do every bit for the country to show love and respect towards our nation. I make an effort to appreciate and support our nation by keeping the surroundings clean or ensuring that they remain clean. I am especially proud of the young people and the army forces who are doing so much for our nation as  I was  also raised by individuals who have given so much to our country where my father served in the navy, and my father-in-law was in the army, so my advice to young people is to enlist in the Army and fight for our nation so that we can provide a brighter future for the next generation".

Ayushi Khurana from Star Bharat’s show’ Ajooni’ recalls her valuable memories on Republic day where she says, "India got freedom on 15th August 1947 but India got complete  freedom on 26th January 1950 when our Constitution  was implemented . I recall  celebrating Republic Day in our school during childhood days  where  we used to practice cultural dance and prepare for Parade a month in advance, just like  celebrating  festivals and other special occasions. Since our country of India is a diverse one in which people of various castes and cultures coexist in harmony, I would like to implore the youth to show respect for one another, treat them equally, and uphold the rights implemented by the constitution. They should also continue to preserve the culture that our ancestors have maintained since ancient times.”
