“My fondest memories of Eid began when I had moved to a new place and met this pretty little girl who was my age then by the name Noorja. We both bonded so well that one day she took me to her place where she offered me Seviyan. When asked for the reason Noorja told me that today is EID and hence we make this dish as a mark of our celebration, that’s the day when I started to celebrate EID every year from then. This year as we are facing difficult times, I am planning to make extra Seviyan where I can share it my neighbours and brighten their day.”
