Rohan Shrestha launched his first ever coffee table book with the National Basketball Association (NBA) - HOME COURT – Inside India’s Basketball Communities. A captivating symphony of black and white photos was showcased in Mumbai, beautifully set up with vibrant colors and perfect lighting. Stemming from Rohan’s love for basketball and photography, Home Court is a collection of his travels across India, capturing the lives of real people who have been truly inspired by the game. A first for Rohan, this book has been a passion project for him where he has taken a journey through 5 states of India (Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Himachal Pradesh, NCR & Sikkim), lived with various communities inculcating their passionate basketball stories into a beautifully curated coffee-table book. From the young Monks of Dharamshala to the fearless Girls of Gangyap or the Wheelchair Champions in New Delhi, to 90-year old enthusiasts in Periyakulam who have dedicated their life to the game and finally the Pioneers of Nagpada, Mumbai, the book takes you through all their backyard stories - the unique & diverse cultures who share the same love for the sport. Home Court aims to increase awareness about basketball through these communities across the country and is testament to the spirit of these individuals.
