SUBHASH GHAI KE JANAM DIN EK TYOHAAR SE BADKAR AUR SHAANDAAR HOTE THE ...... BY ALI PETER JOHN By Team Bollyy 23 Jan 2024 in Ali Peter John New Update Follow Us Share January 24 has always been a day of happiness , joy , celebrations and planning for a better future for Mukta Arts . It is the birthday of a man who started as an actor on a monthly salary of six hundred and fifty rupees , wrote scripts and graduated to be a good director and went on to become the showman of Indian Cinema- Ali Peter John The man who has constantly been in the news for the films he makes and the way he runs his acting school, Whistling Woods International . I am not sure whether Subhash Ghai will be seventy nine or eighty on January 24 this year , but I know that whatever his age , his passion to excel as a filmmaker and an educationist only keeps growing more passionate . His latest passion , a film called "36 Farm House" has just started streaming on Zee 5 and the results are more than encouraging and I will not be wrong if I say that a major part of the credit goes to Subhash Ghai and he deserves it after dedicating the best years of his life to his first love , cinema who in a lighter moment which is also very serious, he calls cineMaa . On the occasion of his birthday I remember all those nameless men and women who have lived for Subhash Ghai and his ambitious dreams . Some time ago , Ghai and Meghna Ghai Puri ,his daughter showed their gratitude to all those who were retiring from service with Mukta Arts after spending several years with it . Subhash Ghai has had several people working together with him , but the one man who was faithful to the last day of service was Inayat Shaikh ( better known as Babu ) who worked as Ghai's chauffeur for more than forty six years , from the time he had an ordinary car to the time when he had a fleet of some of the best cars in the world. The cars changed , but Babu was always there with Ghai often in the front seat and with total confidence in his right hand man , Babu . In a way , Babu was the ambassador of his boss who he would not have left if it was not for his health problems . The other man who Ghai admits is the pillar of Mukta Arts is his brother Ashok Ghai who is without any doubt the backbone of Mukta Arts , but has not been active ever since he had a serious stroke , but how can Ghai forget to express his gratitude to his brother who has been more than his brother ? Mehtaji as he was always called by Ghai and the entire staff was the kind of man who could make anything possible and was called " the man who can make anything from a pin to a piano available within moments . Ghai must be certainly missing these ordinary , simple and yet extraordinary and great men . Ghai had other men who he totally dependent on and among them were Mr Shoumik Majumdaar who looked after all his financial issues and many of the men whose very presence in WWI or wherever Ghai was shooting gave Ghai the confidence that nothing could go wrong with what he had planned to do . I remember all these men and many others from different departments of Mukta Arts and believe me in all the years that I have been associated with Mukta Arts, I have rarely seen any of the men working for Mukta Arts complaining , crying or cringing about their not being treated with respect and not being paid their salaries in time . Whenever it was the birthday of the showman , all these men put all their energies together to celebrate the event like a festival bigger and more grand than any festival . Subhash Ghai The showman will be celebrating one more birthday on January 24 2022 , but I wonder if the celebrations will be the same without all those gallant gentleman for whom the life of the man they loved was more than loving themselves or their own loved and dear ones . HAR PATTHAR SE DEEWAR BANNTHI HAI . HAR DEEWAR SE MAHAL BANTA HAI . LEKIN KOI DEEWAAR YA KOI MAHAL INSAANO KI MEHNAT AUR KHOON PASINE KE BAGAIR BAN NAHI SAKTI . YE SACCHAYI SUBHASH GHAI JAANTE HAI AUR ISILIYE UNKA BANAAYA HUVA RAAJ NA KABHI RUKHTA HAI, NA JHUKTA HAI , WOH BAS CHALTE REHTA HAI AUR AAGE , AUR AAGE BADTE REHTA HAI .
