Success Of T10 Cricket League 2018

We, as Northern Warriors are happy and honored to be a part of the T10 Cricket League which is the first ever professional league in this format. T10 Cricket League is officially sanctioned by the ICC (International Cricket Council) and is supported by most of the full member cricket boards in the world. 120 International Cricketers played in T10 Cricket League Season 2 and top players amongst them were Shane Watson, Rashid Khan, Andre Russell, Sunil Narine, Dwayne Bravo, Brendon McCullum, Eoin Morgan, Jason Roy, Alex Hales, Nicholas Pooran, Johnny Bairstow, Rovman Powell, Anton Devcich, and many more

The new T10 format has been accepted by most cricket lovers around the world and broadcasters see huge potential in this format.

T10 Cricket League has been internationally covered by BBC Sports, Fox Sports, ESPN, ESPNCRICINFO, Sky Sports, Sports Max, Tolo, Yorkshire Post, Kathmandu Post, Super Sports, Gulf News, Khaleej Times, and The National on their digital platforms.

In India, Times Now, News 18, NDTV, India Today, DNA, Asian Age, The telegraph, Business Standard, The Statesman, Hindustan Times, Dainik Bhaskar, The Indian Express and many more on their digital platforms.

8 teams with a franchisee revenue of USD 4 Million every year.

On the final day, the Sharjah Stadium was sold out with 14000 people and approximately 4000 people were outside the stadium desperately waiting outside to see the finals. Average stadium turnout for the on the weekdays was approx. 6000 people.

Total number of runs scored in 29 matches – 6032 @ 208 runs per match

Total number of wickets fallen in 29 matches – 264 @ 9 wickets per match

Total number of 6’s scored in 29 matches – 426 @ 15 6’s per match

Total number of 4’s scored in 29 matches – 449 @ 15 4’s per match

Percentage of runs scored from boundaries (4’s and 6’s) – 71%

Season 3 will be bigger and better and will be broadcast in many more countries around the world.

We are extremely delighted to win the cup in the first year and all credit goes to the boys who have played wonderful cricket.

As the Northern Warriors, our first consensus was to play the game at the at the fullest and give our best in the field, our captain, Daren Sammy and Coach – Robin Singh have done a fabulous job as far as team building and motivating the team to play their best. As a management we tried our best to give

1. a)professional team environment and
2. b)to provide excellent and international standard facilities to the players, to make them feel like one family

For us all the 16 players and 8 support staff were equally important, win or lose, doesn’t matter, what matters is to give your 100% on the ground and in the result, we are the Victorious Warriors. Three Cheers to Northern Warriors.
