Actor Sudhanshu Pandey, who recently received the Garhwal Post Award for his contribution in Hindi cinema from his excellency Governor of Maharashtra Bhagat Singh Koshyari Ji and Manisha Koirala, says that the honour means a lot to him.
“Any sort of recognition whether it’s an award or a certificate or a medal is a symbol of recognition. It’s a reward for all the hard work that an actor or any artist puts into their work. Being acknowledged is the biggest reward. Whenever I win awards it’s a very big reassurance of the fact that whatever I am doing there is something right and people are liking it and that is the acknowledgement that I am getting for all my hardwork and sincerity to my profession,” says the actor.
In fact, his show Anupamaa, where he plays the role of Vanraj too has won awards in the past. “From the time Anupamaa started, I have been winning the best actor award for two years at the ITA awards and I am nominated again this year. I am happy and as long as I get the award, I am reassured that I am doing something good with my character as Vanraj Shah and would like to keep doing that for as long as people are accepting me and giving me all the love in return,” he says.
