SUMONA CHAKRAVARTI RUSHED TO HOSPITAL AFTER FAINTING

In an unexpected turn of events, Comedy Nights with Kapil Sharma fame actress Sumona Chakravarti recently fainted while travelling to the sets in Madh for the shoot of the Colors' weekly series Dev on October 25. The actress was hospitalized immediately and doctors revealed that her hectic schedule is the reason behind her sudden collapse.

Sumona's co-actor in Dev, Ashish Chaudhary disclosed about her health and told Tellychakkar, “She has not been keeping well for quite some time. Then too she used to report to the set for the shoot. She is a dedicated actress, something which I really admire in her. So yes, because of exertion she fainted! Our show is not a usual one; it’s a lot of hard work and it is too taxing. We shoot on real locations so there’s no A/C or any other luxury provisions. It was physically exhausting. What I got to know is that she fainted while reporting to the set yesterday. I even told her to take a break now!"

Another co-actor Amit Dolawat also informed the same entertainment portal and said, “Yesterday, i.e. 26 October, I had a scene with her, however, my unit informed me that she won’t be able to come since she is under the weather.”

Sumona is now out of the hospital and relaxing at her home and we wish her a speedy recovery!
