SUNIEL SHETTY'S NEXT TO BE A SILENT FILM

Suniel Shetty who was recently seen in A Gentleman as a villain, has just been doing cameos for the past few years. But now it seems the tables have turned as he has reportedly been roped in for a television series as well as a feature film.

According to reports, Shetty's upcoming film will be a silent film. Speaking on the project in an interview, he said, “I am doing a very exciting silent film and it’s got a lot of humour. It’s an extremely funny, hilarious film, which will have 24-25 principal actors. It’s on a brilliant subject, but it’s an extremely difficult film to pull off.” He further added, “There’s Anant Mahadevan, who’s the creative director of the film. It’s a silent comedy, so there’s a very thin line. It’s not technically a pantomime. At least, I’m trying to do something different.”

In another interview to Bollywood Life, a source close to the film revealed,  “Actors from all over India are expected to come together for the film. The film’s producer and director are from the South. To ensure that the film is shot in the span of a day, 25 setups will be shot simultaneously with one main director and six subordinates. The purpose is to enter the Guinness Book of World Records with this film,” The untitled silent film will have situational humour and will be a romantic comedy. “Moreover, it is a very expressive film and so, won’t require inter titles (pieces of filmed or printed text inserted at various points in. All the actors will show their unity through gestures,” adds the source.

Well, it seems like interesting project for Suniel. Team Bollyy wishes him a good luck.
