Question to Sunny – When Anil Sharma came to your house for the first time to talk about Gadar 2, what was your first reaction?

Answer: See, I was very nervous about Gadar 2 because I did not want to spoil the taste of Gadar. After that Anil Ji told me 2 lines from the scene, then I liked it, then I said we can do it.

Question to Shariq – You were giving the money, first, your attention must have gone to Gadar 2, after that you felt that its second part can be good?

Answer – When Sharma ji took an appointment to meet me, two days before that I saw the old full picture, then when I met Anil ji, he told the story but due to his emotion, I thought that either this film is mine or will it be the last film or else this film will get success. It took us 3 years to reach here.

Question to Anil – Did you really feel that either everything will end or everything will be very good?

Answer – It was going on for the last many years that Gadar 2 has to be made, but I could not understand the story and used to always tell Shakti ji to give me an idea, but I was not getting any idea. One day Shakti ji came to me, it was the day of Navratri and told me the story and after listening to the story I got an emotion and that emotion worked.

Question to Sunny – What was the most difficult for you, getting into that character, shooting or promotion?

Answer – Look, this time I was scared of everyone, because what is it, I have seen a very long journey in my life because the whole country knows our family, no one has done cinema like what father did, father is one. He is an actor who made every type of film and his film was always a hit. Whatever is happening even today, the public wanted to see Tara Singh again. I promise that I will make such good films. We had so much art that the whole world has stolen our art and from where it has reached. When someone tells me that there is such a scene in that film, they act like that, so I say, “Why can’t we think of a new scene ourselves?” Now I see that the new generation is coming, I see that they want to find their country because even in school nothing is taught about our country, they want to find our culture, want to find our history I am sure now that our talent is coming back. I feel I have spoken too much.

Question to Shaktimaan – Talking about talent, how did you decide Shaktimaan ji that this is the story of Gadar that I want to show?

Answer – I didn’t put any such pressure that I want a sequel, Sharma ji always used to speak and inspire, why don’t you make Bhai? So I used to think a little and then felt that the story Gadar, a love story, was a complete story in itself, if I tease it, it will not be ashamed. Used to think that people’s hearts are connected to Tara Singh and Sakina, will we be able to keep the same love in the next part, such questions were going on in my mind because to do a film if a film is done, then the film is not done. It’s great if you go. Whenever I used to sit and write, I used to think that Tara Singh has brought back his girlfriend i.e. Sakina here after fighting so many difficulties, why would he go back to Pakistan, Pakistan is not a tourist place, he should go like a man He didn’t say that he will have to go, then this story came to me, in 2-3 days I called Anil ji, Anil ji said come home, it’s Navratri day, I went, told the story, he liked it, then told it to everyone. It was good, then the work started.

Shariq – The film was made and the promotions of the film were unique, but you started the promotion with Gadar: Ek Prem Katha where in a way the trailer of Gadar 2 was similar to Gadar 2001, how did you think and the marketing strategy if you see what you guys did?

Answer – When we were making the strategy then we thought that the same family which had come in 2001 is coming again after 22 years, we did not do all this from 1 or 2 months back, it was going on for a long time ago and we We had made the announcement on last Diwali or Dussehra, we were clear in June that we have to re-release Gadar 2001 and behind this, there was a lot of debate between me and Sharma ji. I explained to them that the re-release has to be done. When the re-release happened, our team came to know that there is a lot of love for Brother Sunny Sir, and there is a lot of love for Gadar too because there was such a huge crowd. It was our intention to do one or the other promotional activity every month.

Question to Utkarsh – How did it feel working shoulder to shoulder with Sunny Sir?

Answer – What happens with Sunny Sir, your chest also becomes wide, it is an actor’s dream to work with him because he is a very big action star, I have been watching him since childhood, but his emotional scenes well, and his way of acting is after the script comes to him and after he plans things. I will share an anecdote, there is a scene where he slaps me, that scene was being planned that where to shoot outside the house or inside the house, I was watching from far away Sunny sir was having a lunch break and Sunny Sir was walking there and was thinking of his scene and I was watching from a distance so once it came out of my mouth, yes sir just like that after that he also gave me a look. They were planning in such a way that I knew how fast they would slap me.

Question – When you were planning this film then it must have come in your mind that it would be a risk to release the film of that time or to show a further story, so what did you think of doing the movie? Is?

Sunny’s answer – We had thought that if we want to do a film then we have to do it and when we have decided that the film has to be done, and for 22 years this space was vacant then why no one made such films, if such films are being made Had it been there, the matter would have been different. The place was empty, we did our work and we came forward.

Anil’s answer – What is the second thing – parents remain parents, so the relationships remain the same, no matter how many years ago, our country is the same, just the way you say it changes, your Clothes change, circumstances change. Even 22 years ago there used to be a press conference, just the method was slightly different, but we used to talk to the press only and the questions were the same, so the emotion remains the same.

Shariq’s answer – We know it is a film of the 90s and we have put this film in front of everyone and everyone has given love to it, I think we should make more such films so that people like us can see such films.

Question to Sunny – You have created panic at the box office and you were left crying in the handpump scene, what would you say on this?

Answer – I was very upset and stressed! I am the kind of person who stands for truth which is very difficult, but very fruitful. I was crying the whole day and I told my father that I am not drunk. I met my brother as well and I told him that I am not drunk! What could I do? I was happy so I went crazy. All I have to say is, “main nikla gaddi leke ek mod aaya othe mere naal mera rab aa gaya!”

Question to Utkarsh – How are you getting feedback about your character?

Answer – When we were shooting, Sunny sir had given a reaction on one of my scenes, I haven’t got the best feedback from him yet and at that time I understood my performance.

Question to Anil – We did not know about Gadar 2, but you showed in the last that Gadar 3 is coming, so when is it coming?

Answer – Now you wait for this, the fruit of waiting is very sweet because thought has come into the mind of me and Shaktimaan ji, so you wait for a while.

Question to Sunny – What was your reaction when you came to know about the handpump scene that this time again you and the handpump are going to face each other?

Answer – I hesitate to repeat what has already been done, when Sharma ji told me that the scene would be like this, I liked it, so I did it.

Question to Sunny – What was the best compliment given by Dharmendra ji i.e. your father or has someone else given the best compliment?

Answer – Papa doesn’t say much, just hugs and laughs.

Question to Sunny – Of all the films you have done in 40 years till date, we have not seen you doing so much promotion before today, which means in 40 years you have promoted your films on one side and Gadar 2 promotion on the other.

Answer – Gadar is a very personal film for me, I am very attached to Tara Singh and I did not want to do any shortcoming for Tara’s role.
