Sushmita Mukherjee from Star Bharat’s ‘Meri Saas Bhoot Hai’ shows sheer dedication towards work despite being injured during her shoot.

Star Bharat’s upcoming show ‘MeriSaas Bhoot Hai’ is set to premier on television on 23rd January at 7:30 pm. A unique ‘Saas’ and ‘Bahu’ jodi that differs greatly from any Saas-Bahu jodi previously depicted on Hindi television serves as the basis for the show's plot. The dramedy show, which features Kajal Chauhan and the talented Sushmita Mukherjee in the lead roles, promises to leave fans with comedy-filled drama. While filming ‘Meri Saas Bhoot Hai,’ in which she will be seen portraying a completely different ‘Saas’ as ‘Rekha,’ Sushmita Mukherjee recently had an accident. The skilled performer accomplished her scenes even though she was in a wheelchair. Sushmita Mukherjee talks about her dedication to her work and how she managed to complete the filming despite being hurt.

She says, “Unfortunately, I was hurt on the first day of the shoot on December 23, so I returned on the 18th day of the shoot. I was determined to keep working even after the accident since I'm a theatre artist, and the maxim for theatre performers is that the play must go on no matter what. My producer and director wanted me to stay in the performance to finish it, despite my request to keep a substitute because I was seriously hurt. But since they requested me to stay it's a great obligation for me to accomplish this.

She further adds, “However, the show must continue whether or not I am a part of it, and I'm delighted the show's creators want me to do so. And it goes without saying that someone who makes a commitment from the heart will give it their all. I have that resolve, which keeps me going, and the Almighty is also quickly mending me. The members of the show's crew are incredibly kind and considerate, helping me get into a wheelchair and making sure I'm comfortable. And because of the team's support, I am stronger and more committed to my task.”

Apart from the talented Sushmita Mukherjee and Kajal Chauhan the show will also witness some stellar cast like Vibhav Roy, Bhavna Balsaver, Vicky Ahuja and Vishal Chaudary in pivotal roles. The show is surely going to be like a fresh breath of air for the viewers as they’ll witness a unique concept ever shown on television.
