Taarak Mehta Tears Up To Neelanjana’s Melodious Voice On Indian Idol 10

Indian Idol 10 promises to be even more entraining this weekend with the star cast of one of the most loved comedy shows on Television ‘Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashmah’ gracing the stage. The comedy show’s team made the top 7 contestants sing a song of their choice for the ‘Taarak Mehta Special’ episode. Indian Idol contestant Neelanjana Ray’s performed a soulful rendition of the famous song ‘Mera kuch Saaman’ at the request of the titular Taarak Mehta himself. The song bird’s magical sweet voice mesmerized everyone including judges, guests and the audience present. Taarak Mehta, who’s known as the voice of reason on the comedy show, got quite emotional on hearing the song and expressed his feelings through a Sher (couplet).

Taarak Mehta again requested Neelanjana to sing Dilbaroo song and Neelanjana’s take on the song made his and judge Neha Kakkar’s eyes fill with tears.

Tarak Mehta (ShaileshLodha) said, “I am really touched with Neelanjana’s singing. Its very difficult to touch anyone’s heart through your voice and the way she was singing is incredible. I felt her singing, her voice, her innocence in my heart. I am really happy to come here.”

Anjali (Neha Mehta),Tarak’s wife on the show said that Neelanjana could accompany them back to Gokuldham society as their daughter because she’s such a sweet girl with a lovely voice.
