10th Edition Of Lokmat Maharashtrian of the Year Awards 2024

Lokmat Media Group Pvt. Ltd. proudly hosted the 10th edition of the Lokmat Maharashtrian of the Year Awards (LMOTY), last evening; a high-powered event that celebrated the outstanding efforts of individuals who are the pioneers of Maharashtra's progress and visionaries of its future. Against the stunning backdrop of the Gateway of India, the prestigious ceremony brought together luminaries from diverse spheres, including political stalwarts, business magnates, Bollywood icons, and social trailblazers.

Honors at Lokmat Awards Ceremony

This year, veteran actor Jeetendra along with Hon. CM Eknath Shinde awarded the beloved actor Ranbir Kapoor, the Best Indian Actor Award. Adding to the felicitation, the Lokmat Maharashtrian of the Year for the Best Business Person Award was fittingly presented to the successful businesswoman Ms. Isha Ambani. Shri. Girish Mahajan was also felicitated with the award of the ‘Most Powerful Politician’. 

The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Hon. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Dep. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Mukesh Ambani, Ms.Isha Ambani, Actor Ranbir Kapoor, Ajay Piramal and Anand Piramal, Jaisingh Chavhan, Praful Patel (Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha), and Bhushan Gagrani. All had lent a distinct aura of significance to the occasion overall.

Commissioner, Mumbai Police), Padma Shri Sonu Nigam (Indian's National Awards Winning Vocalist), Ramesh S. Damani (Chairman, Avenue Supermarts Ltd. (Dmart)), Namita Thapar (Executive Director, Emcure Pharmaceuticals Ltd. and Shark at Shark Tank India), Mahesh Kale (India's National Award-Winning Vocalist), Padma Bhushan Dr. Vijay Bhatkar (Chancellor Of Nalanda University),  Padma Shri Dr. Amit Maydeo (Chairman, Institute Of Gastrosciences, Sir H.
