Aamir Khan's Daughter Ira: Bollywood's First 2024 Wedding on Jan 3!

Aamir Khan's daughter Ira Khan is becoming the bride of her lover Nupur Shikhare on Wednesday, January 3, on the auspicious occasion of New Year, and with this, the first auspicious event of Bollywood will begin in 2024. Ira Khan, daughter of Bengali-Muslim parents (Reena Dutta-Aamir Khan), is going to get married as per Marathi culture, hence the wedding ceremony started a week in advance as per the same tradition. Ira's future husband Nupur Shikhare is a Marathi speaker.

Ira started sharing pictures on social media

Ira, who is very active on social media, is a modern girl who keeps sharing her pics and videos. She is also uploading photos and videos of her wedding. The entire Hussain Khan family is present at Ira's wedding. Aamir Khan himself was enthusiastically involved in the engagement that took place a few months ago. All the relatives of the family, Aamir's two ex-wives Reena Dutta, and Kiran Rao, and both sons Junaid, Azad, and nephew Imran Khan, etc. are attending the wedding.

Ira and Nupur have been dating for two years

Ira and her groom Raja Nupur Sikhre have been dating each other for the last two years. When Ira was in depression, both of them came close to each other in 2020 during the time of COVID-19. 37-year-old Nupur is a celebrity gym trainer. She is 11 years older than Ira. He is the fitness guru of not only Ira but also Aamir Khan. During her school days, Nupur Sikhre was a tennis player at the state level and wanted to make a career in it. Then his inclination moved toward films. After making some videos and short films, he came to Mumbai in 2004. Became an assistant to a Marathi film director and joined a fitness center while working as an assistant in action/fight. Then he kept visiting many gyms to get a job. His luck worked in 2008 when former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen gave him a chance to become her fitness trainer. Nupur has since been recognized as a celebrity fitness trainer. He is also an expert in martial arts. In 2014, he participated in Iron Man 70.3 in Taiwan and then in Open Hagen. He stood second in the Cancer Awareness Run.

Ira calls Nupur Sikhre 'Poppe'. A year ago, Nupur had proposed to Ira abroad and Ira had accepted it. Ira does not immediately become friends with Nupur. She used to maintain distance earlier. Then Nupur came to know that the girl was a victim of depression, which he removed and came closer to Ira. Now this newlywed couple is looking forward to the new beginning of life in the New Year. Aamir said he will cry that day

Aamir Khan, who keeps himself away from family discussions, has accepted this relationship with ease and the happiness on his face could be read at the time of engagement. Aamir had also said while discussing his daughter's farewell - "I am a very emotional person, I am certainly going to cry a lot that day."
