Prime Minister Narendra Modi explained the difference between the speed and scale of India in 2013 vs 2023

The country's Prime Minister Narendra Modi is known for many reasons, and one of those reasons is his speech, or rather, his way of speaking is such that people get mesmerized. People like his speaking clearly on any topic, and while addressing the public once, Modi ji gave an example to explain to the people of India the difference in speed and scale of 2013 vs 2023.

Transformative Achievements: Scaling Infrastructure in India 2014-2023

Modi ji says, “I will give you some examples, which will give you an idea of the scale and speed of India. In the year 2013-14, 12 kilometers of highways were built every day, in 2022-23 we have built about 30 kilometers of highways every day. In 2014, there was metro rail connectivity in five cities of the country, in 2023 there will be metro rail connectivity in 20 cities of the country. There were about 70 operational airports in the country in 2014, this number will reach about 150 in 2023. In 2014 there were about 380 medical colleges in the country, in 2023 we will have more than 700 medical colleges. In 2014, only 350 kilometers of optical fiber had reached the Gram Panchayat, by 2023 we have laid approximately 6 lakh kilometers of optical fiber and reached the Gram Panchayat. In 2014, only 55% of villages were connected to PM Gram Sadak Yojana, we have brought this figure to 99% by constructing more than 4 lakh kilometers of roads. Till 2014, about 20,000 kilometers of railway lines were electrified in India, whereas our government has electrified 40,000 kilometers of railway lines in ten years. This is the speed and scale of today's India, and a symbol of India's success."
