This temple is a unique confluence of technology and ancient architecture

The Abu Dhabi temple which was inaugurated by Narendra Modi on Wednesday has been built using scientific technology and methods of ancient architecture. This temple has been constructed near Al Rahba on Abu Dhabi Sheikh Zayed Highway in Dubai. By donating land for the construction of this temple, UAE has created a distinct generous image for itself in the whole world.

According to the temple officials, this grand temple has been built according to the ancient style as described in the scriptures of craft and architecture. Let us tell you that Craft and Architecture are Hindu texts that describe the art of temple construction. Along with the ancient style, modern technology has also been used in the temple. More than 300 high-tech sensors have been installed to measure the temperature of the temple and monitor earthquake activity.

This temple has been built by BAPS

Let us tell you that this temple was built by Bochasan resident Shri Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS). It has cost approximately Rs 700 crore to build this temple. Let us tell you that the length of this temple is 262 feet and the width is 180 feet. This temple is spread over an area of approximately 27 acres on which stones have been laid. The 1.80 cubic feet of pink that was used in the construction of the temple was imported from Rajasthan. 50000 cubic feet of white Italian marble and 25000 stone pieces have been used in the construction of the temple.

Seven gods are seated on seven peaks

Let us tell you that there are seven peaks in this temple which are dedicated to seven important deities. The idols of Lord Rama, Lord Shiva, Lord Jagannath, Lord Krishna, Lord Swaminarayan, Tirupati Balaji, and Lord Ayyappa are present on these peaks.

This temple has two central domes, both domes symbolize peace and harmony. The specialty of this temple is that the holy water of Ganga and Yamuna flows on both sides of the temple, and this water will be sent from India to UAE in big containers.

The walls of this temple tell stories

A special thing about this temple is that apart from 15 stories of India including Ramayana and Mahabharata, stories of Maya, Aztec, Egyptian, Arabic, European, Chinese, and African civilizations have been depicted through stone carvings in this temple. Along with Indian craftsmanship, designs of elephant, lion, and camel as well as the UAE's national bird, the eagle, have been included to give equal representation to the host country.

This is not only a confluence of the cultures of the two countries but also their traditions and crafts.
