Tabu Roped In For Jawaani Jaaneman!

Riding high on the success of Golmaal Again and Andhadhun, Tabu will be seen portraying yet another interesting character in the forthcoming family comedy, Jawaani Jaaneman, co produced by all three - Jackky Bhagnani's Pooja Entertainment, Saif Ali Khan's Black Knight Films and Jay Shewakramani's, Northern Lights Films and directed by filmmaker Nitin Kakkar.

Jackky Bhagnani's Pooja Entertainment has recently acquired the family comedy with Black Knight Films and Northern Lights Films.

Says Jackky Bhagnani, "Pooja Entertainment is proud to associate with Black Knight Films and Northern Lights Films for Jawaani Jaaneman as co producers of the family comedy. With the movie going on floors in June, it's going to be an interesting journey."

Jawaani Jaaneman is in fact a coming of age film and a fun, comic take on how a man confronts the harsh reality of his life.

Tabu has recently joined the cast of Jawaani Jaaneman that also marks the debut of Alaia F (Pooja Bedi's daughter). Tabu and Saif were last seen together in Sooraj Barjatya's Hum Saath Saath Hain (1999).

Says Jay Jay Shewakramani - It’s too early at this stage to reveal her character all I can say is that she has an extremely special role. She was always the first choice for Saif, Nitin and me and we r glad she agreed.

Interestingly, Pooja Entertainment will be working with Saif and Tabu again post their 1991 musical hit, Biwi No 1.

The movie is scheduled to go on floors this June with the first shoot schedule being shot in London for 45 days.
