It is a delightful, fun family entertainer. Present along with them were Bikram Duggal - Head of Studios, Disney Star, Amrita Pandey - CEO, Junglee Pictures. “Babli Bouncer” , to be released on 23rd September 2022 on Disney +Hotstar in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

Excerpts with Tamannaah in a media interaction-

Tamannaah on sharing her thoughts on BB bouncer-: This is a special day for me. I have been waiting for this day. It's a warm, funny subject which makes you smile. I have been a Madhur sir fan.

The recipient of so many National awards and adulations received from the film industry I have noted that he is the most fun loving and happiest coolest director I have worked with.

He makes the full set so lively. Babli’s spirit has come from Madhur sir. Don’t go on his serious films. We have seen that he is so majedar.

Adding further she feels being re launched with this film BB she gushes,"I feel Madhur sir has re- launched me.I have done lot many films but this kind of character being the first of its kind for me, is very close to my heart as my bhabhi is Haryanvi its special inspiration to this character.

This film is something that our hearts went out immediately for while hearing the narration, as it’s a fun subject. For the past two/three years it’s been a hard time for every one of us.

So we have tried to make a film to bring smiles on the faces of one and all after watching it.if we achieve that it will be a big achievement for us.

We make so many films but a few films inspire people and bring smiles on their faces. Having worked for all these years this one has been the most collaborating experience as an actor. I have never felt so involved as an actor.

What kind of physical strength will we get to see as a female bouncer?

My idea is to right bounce into your hearts so that’s my intention. I think in our country still talking in terms of cinema, the physical capacity of a female is always questioned.

Her emotional strength is much more in comparison to her physical strength. You see innumerable characters but whenever a female does a physically strong role it is questioned.

In such a character a female can showcase her physical strength and can be what she wants to be and everyone will love her for that. This is what the film is trying to show.

Did you need to put on some weight for this role you had to put on and what kind of body language you had to adhere to?

It seems too much is focused on the physicality of a character, but in this character only physicality is not her USP.The individual she is and the character that she plays will connect more with people/I had to work very hard.

Beginning the shoot I had to be physically strong.This time I had to literally work on my strength-like when you are riding and actually taking on people,physical strength is more important than aesthetic strength in the profession of bouncers.

If you have muscle it doesn’t mean you are strong enough.You have to develop the actual strength.Definitely , I have worked more in Tamil ,Telugu films.

But working as a Haryanvi I feel they have an innate sense of humour which is enduring and loveable. I had to imbibe their culture.

Would Tamannaah refer to women bouncers in her team?

I have already worked with a lot of female bouncers. In my recent event in Kerala I had a line of female bouncers helping me.But now,since I am a bouncer myself I think mujhe kisi bouncer ki jarurt na pade.

Your Haryanvi language is bang on?

Truly speaking I am not a south Indian but the entire south Indians treat me like one of them and have embraced me, they have given me so much of love.

Probably, I have learned Tamil and Telugu so they see me like one of them. With this film I hope the North belt also will look at me like one of them and usher their love on me.

Popular actor’s bouncers are also popular for e.g. Salman's bouncer and Shahruk Khan's bouncers.Given a chance, whose bouncer would you choose to become from our industry?

I would love to be bouncer for Hrihik also would love to be Vicky Kaushal's bouncer…they are my favorites.

What have you learned is important in the job of a bouncer?

Physical push is not necessary I feel. Its people's management ,how to handle any situation correctly is very important as their job profile includes a few more things.
