Tehseen Poonawalla Is Not A Racist, And Here’s How We Prove It!

Keeping your sanity in an environment that is replete with abuses and fights can be a daunting task. This is why we are quite impressed with how to ace political analyst Tehseen Poonawalla has been managing himself in the Bigg Boss 13 house. However, recently a rather unfortunate incident seems to have shed some bad light on Tehseen.

For the uninitiated, a fight broke out between Tehseen and Asim Riaz in the house, where harsh words were exchanged at both ends, just like all other fights in the house. However, it seems to have been misunderstood by Asim’s fans who have now construed that Tehseen was making fun of the former on account of him being a Kashmir and a model.

Well! that’s not what happened. In fact, Tehseen has done so much for Kashmir. Most recently, he signed a petition to seek the withdrawal of 'curfew/restrictions' in the state. Although this plea was rejected by the court, Tehseen continued to fight. It is hard to believe that a man who can put in his own money to fight for a state, would actually harbor bias against its people. Isn’t it wrong to drag cheap politics into a harmless fight on a show?

What’s even more surprising is that Asim, who was part of the fight didn’t really feel that he was being targeted or he would have at least mentioned it. It is his fans and team outside who seem to have misunderstood the situation.

Not only does he stand up for what is right, but Tehseen also makes sure that no fight of his gets prolonged more than required. After having this altercation with Asim, not only did we see him having fun with Vikas, Shefali, Siddharth and Himanshi and Asim, who was laughing. In fact, Tehseen apologized to Asim right after the incident and admitted that he said everything in jest.

Tehseen's wife Monicka Vadera Poonawalla has issued a statement regarding the same as well. "Both my husband and Asim are adults and know how to handle themselves. If they had an issue they’ll settle it whether inside or outside amongst themselves as would other players. Asim is a sensible participant and he sensed no harm. It’s a part of the game. I don’t see why others who aren’t even inside the house are making a huge deal of this and trying to give this matter a different light on Tehseen’s name especially when he’s clearly been seen apologizing for the jest. Let them play the game as players & let’s stop backseat publicity or coverage seeking," she said.

Another thing that sets Tehseen apart from the other contestants that he acknowledges his mistakes. He pushed Himanshi in the game by mistake and even apologized. He even requested Shehnaaz to not antagonize the other team by stealing their boxes. Well, that’s a man of character!
