Ranbir Kapoor's newly going to be released film 'Animal' suddenly started making headlines a week before its release and it was being written on social media that the film would surpass every other film. This film has brought so many views on the trailer release (more than 5 crores in 24 hours) that even the super hit films of this era 'Pathan', 'Gadar 2', and 'Jawaan' have not got. The trailer made the film a hot topic in the last week. All the actors in the film were busy promoting it vigorously and in one such promotional event, Telangana leader and Employment Minister Malla Reddy said a controversial thing on the stage in Hyderabad.
Minister #MallaReddy sparked controversy at the #AnimalPreReleaseEvent, making bold statements. He declared, 'Telugu people will lead India; you must move to Hyderabad in a year. Mumbai is outdated Hyderabad is the only city for India.' #Animal

The actors of the film had arrived at an event for the promotion of this film. South superstar Mahesh Babu and director Rajamouli had also reached there. Bangalore Labor Employment Minister Malla Reddy had come to this event. Reddy came on the stage and said to Ranbir Kapoor, "Ranbir ji, I want to tell you one thing. Our Telugu people will rule the whole of India, Bollywood, and Hollywood for the next five years. After one year, you will have to shift to Hyderabad. I say it because Bombay has become old, and the road to Bangalore is jammed. There is only one city in India, the best city is Hyderabad." People have opposed this statement of Reddy. Other leaders, film people, and many people have come forward to raise their voices in protest. It is being said that all of them are 'Animal' trailer fans. However, now the era of such statements has started to make the film hot. Actually, everyone likes Ranbir Kapoor's ferocious look Bobby Deol's amazing negative style, Anil Kapoor's fatherly form, and Mandanna’s captivating look in the film. The audience of the previous film Kabir Singh/Arjun Reddy directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga wishes to see the same in 'Animal'.

In the question sequence, Ranbir Kapoor was asked if there were two directors in front of him, Sandeep Reddy Vanga and SS Rajamouli. Who would he like to work with? Ranbir's answer was both. When the question was to choose only one, Ranbir cleverly replied that he would do a double shift. And finally, he said that he is loyal to the directors so he would like to go with Sandeep Vanga. SS Rajamouli did not feel bad about Ranbir Kapoor's reply. He said that Ranbir is a good actor whom I like the most in the film industry. I want to work with him. While a lot of positive responses are coming out from people regarding the film, the team of the film has asked people not to take the words of leader Malla Reddy in a negative light. The news is that Neta ji understood the meaning of his words late and made it clear that he did not mean to harm the film or what people were taking.
Overall, the theater booking report of 'Animal' says that this film is going to give a new image to Ranbir Kapoor.
