The 19th Indian Television Academy Awards To Be Held At Nehru Stadium, Indore

The 19th Indian Television Academy (ITA) Awards, will be held outside of Mumbai for the first time ever in its rich history of 19 years. It will be a unique synergy highlighting the best of Indian television at the backdrop of the rich culture & tradition of the state, Madhya Pradesh which is considered the Heart of India. The awards will be held on Sun 10th November at Nehru Stadium, Indore.

Anu Ranjan, President of The ITA stated “We are the country’s premier & most highly reputed TV awards, celebrating talent in the Entertainment Industry for 19 years. Ours has been an incredible journey that coincided with the coming of age of Indian Television and we have grown from strength to strength over the years. We first began this journey in 2001 & over the years we have grown both in scale & grandeur. Television has a unique connection with people across the country & this year we are thrilled to be bringing this show to the state & people of Madhya Pradesh.”

Shashi Ranjan, Convenor of The ITA said “As we move out of our teens into adulthood, what better tribute than to hold the awards at the Heart of India.. Keeping in tune with the times, we have included awards for the Web category to acknowledge the prolific content. The crème de la crème of India’s TV & Web industry will be present in Indore for the awards ceremony. It will be a celebration of talent, beauty & glamour of Indian TV amidst the cultural richness of the state of Madhya Pradesh.”
