The Archies song Sunoh: The Archies, which stars star kids Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor, Agastya Nanda along with Mihir Ahuja, Vedang Raina, Dot and Yuvraj Menda in pivotal roles, launched its first song from the film, Sunoh. The music video introduces the world of Zoya Akhtar's film 'The Archies' and her interpretation of Riverdale. The characters are based on Archies Comics and retain the same names as the comics. Even Zoya's scenes in Riverdale look like they're a page from comic books.
Sunoh is an intro song for the characters as it shows them going about their daily lives and it all sounds very pleasant. Composed by Ankur Tiwari and The Islanders, the lyrics here are written by Javed Akhtar and Dot. Singer Tejas has given his voice to the song.
Suhana Khan, who is the daughter of Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan, had earlier talked about her first day on the sets of The Archies and shared with India Today, “From the number of people on the set to the lights on the set "The hair, the make-up and the decluttering, I feel like in the middle of it, I felt extremely important." She added that everyone on the set was "doing everything to facilitate Zoya's vision and my first "The day after knowing this and realizing this, I felt extremely nervous and at the same time, incredibly responsible."
Zoya Akhtar, in an earlier conversation with Vogue, had said that she has a "whole boot camp" for all the newcomers. He said, “The challenge was that they were completely raw. So, you have to do a complete boot camp. You have to prepare them for various reasons. One is that you want your characters to be the way you want them to be, you want to create something with the actor. You want them to be comfortable when they come on stage because it's a big deal to have 200 people on a set, have a camera in your face and you have to perform when everyone is silent and when the words action When it is said you have to perform. it is challenging,".
The film The Archies is going to premiere on Netflix on December 7
