‘The Art of Racing in the Rain’, a comedy-drama film, beautifully captures how our pets can change our lives and become part of our family despite not uttering a single word during their lifespan. From Dug in Up to Samantha in I Am Legend, in the past few years, many on screen canines have melted our hearts. The film is based on the bestselling novel by the author Garth Stein.The film stars Kevin Costner, as the voice of ‘old but wise’ Enzo, a dyingGolden Retriever who near the end of his life wants to improve his master and best friend, Denny’s life for the better and be reincarnated as a human. The other cast members include actorMiloVentimigliaasF1 driver Denny and actress Amanda Seyfriedas Eve, Denny’s wife.

Upon being asked about the film’s story, director Simon Curtis stated “Well it’s a story about a family told from a dog’s point of view, I think it’s the simplest way to describe.
