The closing ceremony of the 54th International Film Festival of India held in Goa is being telecast live on DD News

Film actress Mandira Bedi is hosting this closing ceremony. This 54th International Film Festival of India has been going on in Goa for the last nine days, which is being concluded today, and on this occasion, the best artists will be honored. Many artists from the cinema world were present on this occasion.

On this occasion, Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant addressed the festival. Pramod Sawant ji said I hope you will continue to inspire people like this. This film festival reflects the diverse culture of cinema. Taking names of some films, Pramod Sawant ji also said that these films have inspired people. Pramod Sawant ji also thanked Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur. He thanked all the people who attended the function and supported him. Pramod Sawant ji further says I promise that we will fulfill the dream of a better future for India and are ready to welcome you again on the same occasion next year. I promise that Goa will be like heaven for the film industry.

On this occasion, technical partners were also honored who became the backbone and made the event a success.

Due to the increasing popularity of OTT, this time a new award has been announced to support them. The winner will be honored with a certificate and prize money of Rs 10 lakh. For the first time, this award was given by Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant along with actress Divya Dutta and two-time National Award winner Uttpal Pujari, the first winner of this category is 'Panchayat 2'.
