A glimpse of actor Gulshan Devaiah's slightly longer-haired character in the trailer immediately reminds us of one of Bollywood's biggest stars of that era. It has been learned that Gulshan's look in the series is inspired by none other than Sanjay Dutt's iconic mullet hair from the 90s.
A source from the production team shared, "The series is based in the 90s and during that time, Sanjay Dutt's craze was at its peak. Many people started adopting his look, especially the youth for this long cut hair." Started putting requests in the salonMany salon owners had named their salon as 'Sanjay Dutt Cut Salon'. To evoke these nostalgia the team thought this would be a perfect way to capture the essence of the 90s. It was Gulshan who actually came up with the idea and was very excited to adopt that look. He brought the character to life with ease."
Guns N' Gulab is a comedy crime thriller, produced and directed by the influential duo Raj and DK. The story explores the dark and dangerous world of crime and violence during the 90s. Along with Gulshan Devaiah, the series stars Rajkummar Rao, Dulquer Salmaan, Adarsh Gaurav and TJ Bhanu in lead roles.
