THE FAKE HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL TRAILER IS EVERYTHING THAT YOU WISHED FOR BUT DIDN'T GET

Troy, Gabriella, Sharpay, and Ryan are back 10 years later, all set to make us drool. Yes, I am talking about the fake fan-made trailer of High School Musical 4 which went viral for all the legit reasons. It feels like someone offered me a blueberry cheesecake and just when I was about to take a bite, it disappeared. Anyway, not all dreams are meant to come true.

The video was shared on the Facebook Page of High School School Musical 4. It is a compilation of various clips from movies and shows that Zack Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Lucas Grabeel, Corbin Bleu and Monique Coleman have all worked on separately, put together, where the characters have stepped into adulthood and are seen dealing with issues concerning marriage, relationships and life in general.

Ryan admits he "took the fast-track to marriage and kids," while Sharpay appears to be doing well in her career, but it's really Troy and Gabriella that let us down. The two haven't seemed to have spoken much to each other and while Troy admits to still be thinking about her, Gabriella isn't sure about settling down even when she's turned 30. At one point, Taylor even appears to be talking with Gabriella, asking, "Are you going to hold onto this...forever?"

E!Online got a word with the YouTuber hsmutube who created this video and she explained the purpose behind making it, saying, "We're living in a time of reboots and remakes and so I thought it would be fun to see what Troy and Gabriella have been doing these past 10 years. Still wishing that one day they all come back to do a reunion movie."

As HSM fans know, a High School Musical 4 is definitely being made. However, it won't feature Efron or Hudgens.

All we can do in the meanwhile is watch the video because if nothing else, it does make us feel hopeful!
