In the late 60's, a bald young actor with a still unknown name called Anupam Kher came to Bombay from the National School of Drama after he had already faced a long struggle. He did not have the money to buy his ticket from Delhi to Bombay and was helped by one of his close batch-mates from the NSD, Suhas Khandke who was a pampered son of a landlord who some how wanted to be an actor. He gave Anupam a place to live in his vast house in Walkeshwar and gave him all the support even when it came to financial support , when it came to some of the best closed which Suhas got to wear as a successful model and if Suhas was free in the evening, he even took Anupam to dinner to "Bade Miya" to feast on some of the best and delicious food and falooda. Anupam started seeing better days and shifted out of the house of Suhas and moved from one slum to another till his condition grew better and he is the Anupam Kher he is today, a star who has worked in more than 500 films and is now a friend of Robertred Ford and Al Pacino and is the proprietor of an acting school called "Actor Prepares" and the author of three best selling books. Suhas Khadke still caries his bag and walks from one auditon studio to another looking for work and is very statisfied if he gets a bit role in a TV serial or a role in a crowd scene in a film, he still travels in a Mercedes. He must helped at least 30 artist who are big names now, but not one, i repeat not one has even tried to help him find a role in one of there own projects or the many projects they are working on.

With Anupam, had come another equally talented actor who kept making the rounds of studios and offices. And on the day when Anupam signed Subhash Ghai's "Karma" his friends body was found washed ashore the Juhu Beach. He couldn't take the humiliation and the hunger any more. He had committed suicide.

When Subhash Ghai was signing films as a hero  left right and centre in the 70's, there was another young man called Anand Soins who was making a big splash in every where possible and had signed 8 films with big filmmakers within a week and had made every establish star insecure and had made every established filmmaker run after his. Within 2 weeks, he had exhausted all the money he had brought with him and all the parties he wasted, all the publicity he spent money on and all the hotel rooms he booked were booking for him, but he had got lost in some other world from where he was ans still he is never found.
