The International Iconic Season 5 2019 Is Here!

Mohamad Nagman Lateef  founder and president of Iconic Productions is all set to come up with the fifth season of his popular award function. The International Iconic Season 5 2019 will be held in Mumbai. An award function that encompasses all categories under one roof, this ceremony is clearly one of a kind. “Season 1 and 2 were in Dubai, season 3 and 4 were in Bangalore. The award show is very different from other shows. This is a show were all industrialists business tycoons, educationists, artists, special case people come. We award the rising stars from all industries,” he says.

Talking about the thought process behind choosing the venue as Mumbai this time, Lateef says, “Since out of 4 seasons, we have done 2 seasons internationally and 2 in Bangalore and Delhi, we decided on Mumbai this time. The entire showbiz industry is in Mumbai so it was a little tough to handle things like travel, stay and flight timings. It was a little hectic in the last 4 seasons, so we thought season 5 should be in Mumbai and give a new era to it.”

Talking about the celebrities attending the show, he says, “Every year we have a theme, this year it’s television. So the expected numbers are around 100 including names like Jannat Zubair Rahmani, Digangana Suryavanshi, Rohit Verma, Arshi Khan, Nakash Aziz, Karan Mehra, Nisha Rawal, Karan Singh Grover, Aditya Khurana, Nishanth Singh Malkani, and Faisu Shaikh. Others include Ankita Lokhande, Smriti Khanna, Sonali Raut, Nivedita Basu, Shaleen Bhanot, Shweta Khanduri, Sayantani Ghosh, Liza Malik, Sadiya Siddiqui, Vikas Gupta, Hina Khan, Baseer Ali and Shruti Sinha. Celebrities such as Meisha Iyer, Faizy Boo, Harleen Sethi, Sameer Soni, Karan Kundra, Chetna Pande, Adnan Khan, Vishal Singh, Nikita Rawal, Shubhangi Atre and Remo D Souza would attend as well.”

Meanwhile, Lateef is involved in other projects as well. “I am basically from a business family background from Saudi Arabia and in India, I am doing all this since 2015. I am producing web series and albums and will soon move to south movies too. I am also doing the world finals of Mister and Miss Icon World on the same night as the awards. Some international models will be representing their countries like Namibia, Cameroon, Philippines, Nigeria, Nepal, Indonesia, Uganda, Tajikistan, Vietnam, Sudan, and India. South movie star Pooja Gandhi will be also part of it with south directors,” he says.
