THE ISHAQZAADES ARE BACK

Five years after they made their sizzling debuts in YRF's Ishaqzaade, Gen-Y stars Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra are all set to reunite for a new venture under Bollywood's biggest film banner. YRF took to Twitter to announce Dibakar Banerjee’s upcoming project, Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar which will bring together the actors once again.

According to reports, Arjun will be seen playing a Haryanvi cop in the crime drama while there is no news on Parineeti's character yet. Dibarkar Banerjee, who has earlier collaborated with YRF on films like Detective Byomkesh Bakshy and Titli opened up on the film and said, “This feels like my first film, again. I’ve had to unlearn everything I know to tell this story about a man and a women who can’t stand each other, but can’t survive without each other.”

Both Arjun and Parineeti have seen the ups and downs in their five-year-long acting careers. After the lukewarm response to their respective last films Half Girlfriend and Meri Pyaari Bindu, both Arjun and Parineeti might just get the career boost with this new venture. Currently, Arjun Kapoor is busy promoting his upcoming film Mubarkan while Parineeti is shooting for Rohit Shetty’s Golmaal Again.
